Lunch ideas

I need your suggestions for a relatively simply lunch to serve for a small group of guests... like 3-4 people. So far I've come up with soup and salad, or chicken salad croissants, but I'm not in love with either of those, so any suggestions would be great. Of course if you have specific recipes, even better!

I just did a little lunch with some of my baby's friends, and we had chicken pillows and spinach salad for the moms, with (homemade) mac and cheese and peas for the kids. It was great! I used a rotisserie chicken for the chicken pillows just to eliminate the hard part.

I think pasta salads with meat in them (there's a few on this blog to choose from) are a good choice because you can make them ahead of time and then maybe the day of you can make some breadsticks or garlic bread to go with. I also like to do tacos (because they are pretty "safe" most people kis/adults like them).
