Home made spaghetti sauce freezes well and is very universal. You can pull it out and just heat is up over cooked pasta, or make a quick lasagna with it. I make mine with meat, so I never have to brown the meat when making a lasagna or anythign else, it's all there! I usually make a ton at once in a big pot, then have spaghetti sauce for a very long time!
Oh BTW, make sure you leave a little room on the top for expansion. So don't fill to the top, leave 1/2-3/4 of an inch between the top of the sauce and the lid.

The spaghetti sauce is a good idea! What do you freeze it in? A jar?
I use gladware containers. They are perfect for storage and reheating.
